Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your Day2Tale account, stories, voice recordings, and child profile details at any time. Limited retained records are described below. This cannot be undone.

In the app

• Open Day2Tale and go to Settings (the gear icon).
• Tap Delete Account & Data.
• Confirm. Day2Tale revokes the account token, removes profile content and stored audio, clears local app data, and displays a deletion reference.

Timing and retained records

Day2Tale content is removed when the deletion is accepted. We track deletion requests for applicable processors, including support-assisted Tenjin deletion, which may take up to 30 days to complete. Pseudonymous purchase, affiliate, tax, fraud-prevention, and accounting records may be retained when required by law or legitimate financial obligations; they do not restore access to the app.

If you've already deleted the app

Email support@day2tale.com and include your Day2Tale deletion reference or other account details available to you. Because Day2Tale accounts are pseudonymous, we may request information needed to verify the account before acting on a request.

What about my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it separately in your App Store settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Day2Tale). See our Terms of Use for details.
