Day2Tale (“we”, “us”) is operated by WaveTech LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Day2Tale is designed to be set up and used by a parent or guardian — there are no child accounts.

Voice recordings

When you record a moment from your child's day, that audio is sent to our servers only to create your story. It is transcribed and used to generate and narrate the story, then retained only as long as needed to deliver and store your library. You can delete your recordings, stories, and account at any time from the app (Settings → Delete Account & Data). We do not sell your recordings and we do not use them to advertise to you.

How the AI works

Stories are written and narrated by an automated AI pipeline running on Cloudflare Workers AI. Your recording and your child's details are used to generate the story for you; they are not used to train third-party advertising models.

Children's data

Day2Tale is intended for parents and guardians, not for direct use by children, and is not part of Apple's Kids Category. To personalize stories we store the first name, age range, and interests you provide about your child. This information is used solely to create stories and is never shared with advertisers, sold, or sent to our attribution or analytics partners. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Analytics & advertising partners

To understand how the app is used and to measure our own advertising, we use:

  • AppsFlyer — install attribution and marketing measurement.
  • Meta and TikTok — measurement of ads we run on those platforms.
  • PostHog — first-party product analytics.
  • RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management.

These partners may process a device identifier and in-app events. On iOS, any tracking that uses the device advertising identifier only occurs if you allow it through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. No child's name, age, voice, or story content is ever sent to these partners.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive or store your payment card details. See our Terms of Use for subscription terms.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated data in the app at any time. If you have already removed the app, email us at support@day2tale.com and we will complete the deletion. See our Delete Account page.
