Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the Day2Tale app and website provided by WaveTech LLC. By using Day2Tale, you agree to these terms and confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are the parent, guardian, or other authorized adult operating the service.

The service

Day2Tale turns information and a short recording about a child's day into an AI-generated bedtime story and narration. Generated content can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable despite moderation. You are responsible for reviewing each story before sharing it with a child. Day2Tale is entertainment, not medical, educational, mental-health, or professional advice.

Your content and permission

You retain your rights in the information and recordings you submit. You grant WaveTech LLC a limited license to host, process, transcribe, moderate, transform, and reproduce that content only as needed to provide Day2Tale, honor your optional data choices, secure the service, and comply with law. You represent that you have authority to provide any child details and voices included in a recording. Our Privacy Policy explains collection, retention, and deletion.

Subscriptions, credits, and auto-renewal

Available subscriptions, free trials, prices, and credit packs are displayed in the app and may vary by country. Apple processes all purchases under its Media Services terms.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when Apple confirms the purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before expiry.
• Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting a Day2Tale account does not cancel billing through Apple.
• Your selected plan and the story creation screen show the credit allowance and usage before you confirm. Subscription credits are a recurring allowance and have no cash value. Separately purchased credit-pack and gift credits do not expire, except when consumed or when the service/account is lawfully closed.
• Refunds are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's policies and applicable law.

Generated audio and downloads

Pro subscribers can save generated narration for offline listening within Day2Tale. Stories remain in the cloud library while Pro is active and enter a 90-day grace period if Pro ends. An offline copy has no automatic timer and remains on the device until you remove it or delete the Day2Tale account. Download access is personal and non-transferable. You may not resell, publicly distribute, or use generated content to violate another person's rights.

Acceptable use

Do not submit content you lack permission to use; create unlawful, exploitative, abusive, sexual, hateful, or dangerous content; probe or bypass security and usage limits; automate unauthorized access; reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits; or interfere with other users or infrastructure.

Availability and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or nonpayment. You may stop using Day2Tale or delete your account at any time. Provisions concerning payments, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and legally retained records survive termination where applicable.

Disclaimers and liability

Day2Tale is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, WaveTech LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

Disputes and applicable law

The laws that apply to WaveTech LLC and to your use of the service govern these terms, without overriding mandatory consumer rights in your place of residence. A dispute may be brought in any court that has lawful jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email us so the parties can try to resolve it informally.

Changes

We may update these terms as Day2Tale changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms, except where affirmative consent is legally required.
