Yes. Day2Tale is operated by you, the parent — there are no child accounts. Your child's name is used only to personalize the story and is never shared with advertisers or sold. Voice recordings are used to create the story, then can be deleted at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
You record a short description of your child's day. Day2Tale transcribes it and uses a secure AI pipeline (running on Cloudflare Workers AI) to write an original, age-appropriate bedtime story, then narrates it in a warm voice. Nothing about your child is used to train third-party advertising models.
Day2Tale is designed for young children at bedtime — roughly ages 2 to 8 — and lets you tune the story to your child's age and interests, from dinosaurs and space to princesses and gentle everyday adventures. Parents set everything up and press record.
Creating a new story needs an internet connection so we can write and narrate it. Once a story is saved to your library, you can replay it — plan ahead and generate tonight's story before you head somewhere without signal.
Subscriptions are billed through the App Store, so you cancel anytime from your Apple account: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Day2Tale → Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or period ends to avoid the next charge.
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account & Data to remove your stories, recordings, and personal details. If you have already deleted the app, email support@day2tale.com and we'll handle the deletion for you. See the Delete Account page for step-by-step instructions.
